let's talk about comfort first off this is a very light headset. You don't feel much weight at all if any on top of your head. If I tell you about the weight of the Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset on top of your head. You will hardly feel anything on the side of your head either when you're wearing these. At first use, it will seem a little bit tight but after daily usage, you almost forget that you are even wearing it and that's a very impressive thing. Razer has also been able to reduce the weight of this headset by reducing the material between the headphones and the headband. 

Moreover, you can adjust the headband by moving the ear cushions up and down. The ear cushions are just a tad bit on the small side. They're a bit shallow, so your earlobes do touch the mesh covering the driver on the inside. They're a little thin but that's not much of an issue. The memory foam of the ear cushions keeps them breathable which is great.

Now let's talk about the functionality of this headset with the black shark v2. You're gonna have your standard two controls on your left ear, a mute button that gives you tactile feedback when you push it in you can feel a little click. The second one is a knob instead of a scroll wheel. A little neat feature is that there's a little notch. It that will let you know when you're at 50. You can use the audio jack that comes with the headset instead of the USB but you'll end up losing all of the benefits from the razer software and that makes it sound pretty awful.

The cord on this headset is about six feet. The mic is very of good quality. Its mic will pick up a lot of noise and can easily pick up your breathing, keystrokes, and mouse clicks. What's great is that you're able to adjust this with just three simple clicks to make it sound superbly better. If you do more enhancements you will get voice normalization. So all in all three simple clicks and your microphone quality improves. Drastic the microphone on this headset is very flexible. You're able to adjust it as needed and it also is detachable which I love obviously.  

let's get on to my favorite part of this headset which is the audio. The black shark v2 delivers amazing sound. Of course, the headset comes with the obvious different mixer options allowing you to enhance things like the bass or the treble as well as the sound normalization. Just try this out,  you will not be disappointed as far as audio goes this is the best headset I've ever reviewed.

Furthermore, let me tell you about the design and durability of the black shark v2. I actually really enjoy the design of this headset. I think it's pretty unique and the way that they manage to reduce the material around the ear cushions the fact that it's just connected by a couple of wires and the audio cord going through is fantastic again. The design to reduce the material here lends itself to being a lightweight headset which is excellent for long-term use. The leather incorporated in the headset and the memory cushion foam is just fantastic. 

So my verdict for this headset is if your budget's around the 70 to 80 area, this headset is a must-buy. it's got a fantastic mic you're not going to have any issues with background noise. The audio is freaking awesome I absolutely love it and it's super comfortable. I don't see you having any issues wearing this headset for hours on end and I'm talking like eight to ten hours you're not going to have any issues if you're not ready to pull the trigger on this headset.
